Relationship therapy for Couples and Individuals | SC & MO

It’s time to feel seen and understood.

Relationships are hard AND they are what make us Human.

You know you can’t keep doing things this way.

Something has to change, but you don’t know what or how.

Are you the person your friends and family go to for support? Others assume you have it “all together,” but you feel like you are crumbling under your high standards for yourself, your relationships, and your achievements.

Maybe you are struggling in your relationship with your partner. You feel criticized, judged, or unseen by them and you constantly have the same argument over and over again. You wish you could regain that connection that brought you together in the first place.

Or perhaps you are a parent watching your not-so-little kid grow up into someone you don’t recognize. You knew this stage would be challenging, but you can’t help but wonder if this lack of communication and constant struggle is normal. You are wondering if you will ever have that connection and communication back.

Hi, I’m Allie.

Whether you are considering therapy for the first time or re-entering the therapy process, I know how overwhelming finding the right person can be. As a relationship expert, I help my clients gain insight into how their individual roles, thought patterns, reactions, and behaviors impact their relationship with themselves and others.

It can feel really scary to show up as our true selves and ask for our needs to be met, no matter how much we want to. Through the therapy process,  I listen, ask questions, offer interpretations and provide the tools necessary to engage in your life and relationships in a way that feels good to you.

We will work together to build awareness around your triggers, unconscious thought patterns, and negative assumptions, while also finding new, less reactive ways to respond during the conflict.  My clients walk away from therapy feeling more self-aware, compassionate, and connected to themselves and others.
